Moldavite is said to have fallen to earth as a meteor nearly 15 millions years ago over the Moldau River valley in Czech Republic. This green gem is among the most rare minerals on earth. Known through history as a spiritual talisman, moldavite was found in amulets dating 25,000 years ago.
